Tivoli: Spooky Edition

Tivoli, the 2nd largest amusement park in the world, reopens out of season for a few weeks every autumn. Meghan, Eliza, and I went to get into the Halloween spirit and celebrate Eliza's birthday. Although we have been here for over two months now, this was our first time visiting this Copenhagen staple. To mark the occasion, we dedicated a whole day to exploring the park and splurged on the unlimited ride passes, which I highly recommend.

When we first arrived, we were blown away by the hyyge atmosphere of the park. There were little shops lining the entrance village that sold a myriad of cozy hats, gloves, scarves, sweaters, and food! What more could we ask for? We looked for a while, but decided to put our ride passes to some use. We set a goal to try to ride every park in Tivoli, which I think we actually did! The park decorated some of the rides to match the Halloween theme, which was so adorable and fun!

We stopped for some snacks and got a little more than we were expecting!

Broomsticks on the back of the swings!

After a few hours, a virtual reality roller coaster, and some rain, we decided to head home. To keep up the fall festivities, the three of us cooked a bit of a feast. We picked up a rotisserie chicken from Fotex, roasted brussel sprouts and cauliflower, whipped up some incredible homemade mashed potatoes, and baked our very own apple crisp for dessert. I think this was one of my favorite days in Copenhagen so far!

Until next time,

-Mary
