HI EVERYBODY!

My name is Mary, and I'm a junior at Syracuse University. Usually you can find me there studying public affairs, running across campus in pursuit of chicken tenders, or planning my life to the minute via Microsoft Excel. However, this upcoming semester I have packed my bags to study in Copenhagen, Denmark at DIS. I am immensely excited for this adventure, and I can not wait to bring y'all along with me!

COMMON QUESTIONS 

WHAT COURSES ARE YOU TAKING IN COPENHAGEN?

I will be taking 4 classes this semester. They are Prostitution and the Sex Trade (my core course), Psychology of Leadership, Philosophy of Mental Health, and Renewable Energy Systems! This is the first semester where I have been hype for all of my classes, so I'll be sure to keep you in the loop with how they are going.

ARE YOU TRAVELING TO OTHER PLACES DURING YOUR SEMESTER?

Absolutely! With my core course I will be going to Malmo, Sweden and Amsterdam, The Netherlands. I also have plans to travel independently to Stockhold, Sweden; Florence, Italy; Geneva, Switzerland; Warsaw, Poland; Alesund, Norway and anywhere else I can find a way to visit!

WHERE WILL YOU BE LIVING?

DIS offers six amazing housing options, all of which have their perks. I will be living in the Outdoor Living and Learning Community. This option involves living in Ameger with other American students. I have two great roommates, and once a week my entire floor goes on some kind of outdoor adventure! I chose it to help me explore Denmark's natural beauty.
